Greetings!

My travel blogging shall continue. I was recently awarded a Fulbright/Hayes grant to study intercultural engagement in Senegal, West Africa.....

Here is the invitation:

Dear Miguel, 
On behalf of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the U. S. Secretary of Education, we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to participate in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program to Senegal. The Seminars Abroad Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education’s International and Foreign Language Education office, Office of Postsecondary Education, in cooperation with the U. S. Department of State. 
 
We'll be in a cohort of 15-20 college educators from all over the US and will travel over most of the country in a month. I leave on Monday May 23rd for orientation at Boston University and will arrive in Dakar, Senegal on the 26th of May. I will arrive home on June 22, 2016.
