Mountain biking! Nature!
Yesterday was May 1, a big Holiday in Russia and other parts of the world. Everybody pretty much has 4 days off. My friend Sergei invited me to go mountain biking in back in March when he was in an entrepreneurship class I taught for mid-level managers. He is a manager at a large regional gas company and gets to travel all over Russia. It was a beautiful day. He picked me up at my apartment around 9:30am and we drove to a large forest NW of town. We road on some nice trails for about 10 miles. Sergei shared his Dad’s bike with me, we had sandwiches, tea…..and even drank from a Russian artesian well. One of the best days I’ve had in Russia!
